Accommodation and facilities
Casa Teresina (so called because it belonged, until her death, to Teresa Tassini, former postmistress and doyenne of the village) is opposite the church in the centre of the village of Moggiona, which is a frazione or ward of the Commune of Poppi and lies at 700 metres above sea level.
The house dates back to the 12th century and is built very much in the style of the Casentino (with enormously thick walls and a cantina or cellar under the house).
Casa Teresina is managed for us by the charming and helpful Tassini family, who run the village shop and the very highly recommended restaurant Il Cedro (three minutes' walk from the house).
